Description

Description

The proposed project will reduce the isolation of communities, including refugees, and Host Communities, through climate-resilient connectivity improvements. It will equally support the livelihoods of communities through the construction of socio-economic infrastructure and the provision of temporary employment opportunities for refugees, women and men in the project area. These interventions are expected to restore and enhance resilience in the Far-North region of Cameroon and help mitigate the drivers of conflicts. The proposed project will support the rehabilitation of the Mora-Dabanga-Kousseri road (205 km) in the Far North region of Cameroon. The project will also support the improvement of social and economic infrastructure for selected areas along the Maroua-Mora-Dabanga-Kousseri corridor with a specific target on improving access to refugees camps.
