Description

The project is a follow-up of the project titled “Implementation of HACCP standards in education” implemented within the first call of the Hungary-Serbia Neighbourhood Programme. The project is organized in such a way that it provides life-long learning, further education and acceptance of new methods for those involved in the catering industry in the border regions of Bacs-Kiskun and Western Backa. The framework concept of the project reflects the need for an economy aiming towards EU accession, not only in the field of economy but in the fields of social and cultural events as well. Activities of the project include analysis of the current situation and the requirements for implementation of international standards of food safety; training and introduction of the latest standards to target groups; study tours; workshops on food quality and purchase of the equipment necessary for project implementation.
