The project will involve:- design of all aspects of the data centre, the site, the services and the access roads, in compliance with the performance specifications;- construction of the data centre as per the design, including provision of utilities and other site services required to support the data center and obtaining a LEED® certification;- finance for the term of the contract, which will commence on financial close and continue for 25 years;- services for the term of the contract, including soft services such as cleaning and waste management, as well as hard services such as electrical and mechanical; and- Lifecycle maintenance. The data centre was opened in September 2018. It features a 110,500 square foot, state-of-the-art, operating data centre that offers a long term IT solution for the Government of Canada.
