Amidst the current uncertain environment for firms due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this project will support the RGC’s implementationof the “Digital Business” pillar of its new Digital Economic and Social Policy Framework adopted in May 2021. First, the projectwill enhance the support ecosystem through assisting government agencies and key stakeholders in developing digitalizationroadmaps, establishing digital hubs and digital platforms to provide enterprises with information, diagnostic and skills ondigitalization opportunities; it will also simplify and digitalize government procedures that affect SMEs. Second, the project willimplement a support program that will provide incentives, high quality business knowledge and advisory services to help existingSMEs upgrade their business functions and innovate in products and processes through digitalization and technology adoption.
