The proposal for EEN-BG has been designed to build on the current EEN (EIIRC-BG) and to ensure smooth continuation and optimized operability of the Network. The work programme for 2015-2016 is designed in accordance with the implementation strategy of the framework contract 2015-2020. ARC Consulting EOOD is leader of a Consortium of 12 partners, all being members of the current EIIRC-BG, covering the whole country. The Implementation Strategy incorporates the Plan-Do-Check-Act management methodology. The overall project objective is to facilitate the access of the Bulgarian SMEs and research organisations to the European and international markets by providing growth-oriented, integrated business and innovation support services and thus strengthening the competitiveness of the BG enterprises and their potential to go international. Going international will be given impetus through business cooperation, innovation and transfer of technologies and know-how, and joint research projects. The ultimate outcomes of the EEN operation sought are Partnership Agreements (PA) and Advisory Services Outcomes (ASO). EEN-BG envisages support services at (i) micro level such as company visits, business and technology audits, match-making via Merlin and via live events (B2B, brokerage, company missions), information dissemination, as well as services at (ii) macro-level, such as the SME feedback on and input to policy making at EU level, analysis of the innovation performance of BG SMEs, etc. Support services to markets in third countries will be demand-driven and hence identified in the course of EEN-BG implementation. Wide spectrum of promotional activities is envisaged to increase Network visibility and recognition by clients and stakeholders at regional, national and Network level. Interaction with stakeholders and other EU networks as potential multipliers will be sought to achieve synergies and mutual signposting to the best benefit of the client.
