The aim of the present proposal EEN SACHSEN is to implement the Enterprise Europe Network under the COSME programme in the Free State Saxony (Germany). The appropriate consortium consists of two technology agencies, two universities, three Chambers of Industry and Commerce as well as two Chambers of Skilled Crafts. The partners will provide information and advice to companies, particularly Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), regarding the participation in the Common Market as well as international markets, internationalisation, innovation and EU programmes like HORIZON 2020 and COSME. The main activities of the EEN SACHSEN consortium will comprise: - Advice, support and information regarding internationalisation and innovation, - Cross-border partnering services for business cooperation, technology transfer, innovation and research, - SME feedback activities, - Enhancement of the innovation management capacities of SMEs, - Promotion of the Network’s services and communication, - Network building and reinforcing the Network and - Project management. The outcomes of the EEN SACHSEN project will be measured using as set of 16 indicators as well as by evaluation of annual client satisfaction and benefit surveys, respectively. Success stories describing the impact of the Network’s activities with regard to increased turnover, growth, improved competitiveness, and jobs created will be published in oder to encourage regional SMEs to wider exploit the Network’s services.
