EEN Anatolia aims to develop comprehensive strategies to address SMEs’ needs in the region entire area covered by NUTSI Regions of Turkey with some 390 thousand SMEs. The role of SMEs has grown dramatically in regions and they contribute substantially to income, output and employment. Because of this reason, it is targeted to not only on sustaining domestic activity, but also at encouraging SMEs to build international businesses. For this to happen, the project focuses on providing more proactive support to SMEs in their planning for internationalization, including support in identifying the most attractive and fast-growing international markets working in conformity. This will be happen with Strategy and Action Plan which aims harmonizing the SME Policy of Turkey with the European Union. In an attempt to overcome substantial barriers and assist SMEs, EEN Anatolia Consortium was built with comprehensive members. The members of EEN Anatolia Consortium include SME support organizations, SME representative organizations and business organizations and all have occupational ability to reach into the SMEs and have a track record of performances in terms of service support to local economic and academic players. The consortium will serve all SMEs in the region with “no wrong door” strategy and also minimum 4000 SMEs will receive one-to-one special advisory service from EEN Anatolia Consortium.
