The main objective of this proposal - and hence of this call - is to implement the activities of the Enterprise Europe Network Bremen for the period 2017-2018. The EEN provides integrated services in business and innovation support within a single European network and on NUTS1 regions level. The consortium EEN Bremen (composed of WFB and Die Denkfabrik) will provide these services covering the Federal State of Bremen. The aim of the services outlined within this proposal is to facilitate access to European and international markets for European SMEs and to provide growth-oriented, integrated business and innovation support services that help strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of European enterprises (this aim is in line with the objectives of the COSME work programme). The specific objectives of this proposal are as follows: • Provide easy-to-access integrated services in close proximity to SMEs; • Maintain and continuously improve the professionalism of the services provided; and strive to achieve excellence in the services provided to SMEs and in all related Network activities; • Raise the awareness of SMEs about EU policy issues and act as a communication channel for the EC with European SMEs, thereby supporting the implementation of European legislation and stimulating knowledge transfer and the exchange of good practices between consortia; • Promote and inform SMEs about the services offered by the Network; • Ensure a high degree of visibility for the Network in the Federal State of Bremen • Contribute to the establishment of an internal 'network identity'; • Ensure that the services are consistent with and embedded in the regional business and innovation support environment. • Strong cooperation with other regional stakeholders in order to improve the environment for entrepreneurial activities. In general, the services of the EEN Bremen will be provided in an integrated way allowing easy access for SMEs to them.
