EEN CROATIA will play a crucial role in supporting the strategic functioning of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) from 2025 to 2028 by leveraging a consortium of regional and national actors, including chambers of commerce, government agencies, universities, and technology parks. It focuses on key areas such as sustainability, digitalisation, innovation, and resilience to provide comprehensive support for SMEs to thrive in the Single Market and beyond. Aligned with the EEN’s goals, the project offers tailored advisory services, fosters cross-border cooperation, and helps SMEs access EU programmes and funding opportunities. The consortium's deep understanding of regional business ecosystems ensures that support services are well-tailored to SMEs' needs while integrating local knowledge with EU-wide resources. A key aspect of the project is training sustainability advisors to assist SMEs in adopting sustainable practices, complying with EU climate goals, and leveraging sustainability as a competitive advantage. The project will provide workshops and assessments to help SMEs reduce their environmental footprint and transition to greener business models. Additionally, it aims to increase SME participation in EU funding programmes such as Horizon Europe and InvestEU by offering guidance and raising awareness through consultations and workshops. A feedback mechanism will ensure SMEs’ experiences and challenges are represented at the EU level, influencing future policies. The project promotes cross-border cooperation by organizing matchmaking events and B2B meetings to connect SMEs with potential partners across Europe. It will also support digital transformation by helping SMEs adopt new technologies and offering innovation audits. Resilience assessments will be provided to help SMEs manage market disruptions and supply chain volatility, ensuring long-term operational stability.
