EEN Hessen will offer a comprehensive set of sound and integrated internationalisation and innovation services to Hessian companies. It will contribute to improve the business environment in the region, and help clients to develop their activities by providing information and advice they need to grow and be competitive, offering “top-class business support”. It will prepare SMEs to be successful in international markets from the starting point. The number of internationally active SMEs shall be increased by strategic consulting, highlighting different growth markets and tailor-made advisory services. The analysis of clients’ potential and needs via visits and reviews are basic to set up partnership profiles and identify partnering opportunities, e.g. through POD, brokerage events and missions. Clients get support during the whole partnership process to enhance technological and business cooperation as well as innovative EU projects in the Single Market and beyond. The companies will profit from intense advice on EU programs, especially Horizon 2020 and other European, national and regional sources of financing. Being part of “European IPR Helpdesk Ambassadors”, EEN Hessen will accompany its clients in IP related issues. New areas are “design and innovation”, where it will offer information events together with national and regional key players, as well as energy efficiency. EEN Hessen will act as a communication channel for feedback between SMEs and the European Commission. Mechanisms to ensure close co-operation with complementary in-house and external business service providers, expressed by the “no-wrong-door” concept, will enhance the customer benefit. EEN Hessen will contribute to develop and reinforce the Enterprise Europe Network by various measures of exchange, collaboration and information, as it forms the strategic base of operations for any successful performance.
