Description | EEN Niedersachsen will enhance the competitiveness of enterprises from Niedersachsen with a special focus on SMEs. To reach this objective the consortium will use the specific knowledge, experiences, client bases and capacities of the consortium partners. The consortium’s geographical coverage is the German federal state of Niedersachsen in North-Western Germany, which is classified as NUTS I region DE9. Integrated business and innovation support will be ensured by the ”No-Wrong-Door Concept“. EEN Niedersachsen will promote EU policies and programs to create added value for the regional SMEs and to raise their competitiveness. This will establish a link between SMEs and EU policy making and will also involve the SME Feedback and Interactive Policy Making mechanism. Thus the network will help to improve the environment for entrepreneurial activities and promote entrepreneurial culture in the European Union. the consortium will ensure the visibility, recognition and local awareness of the Network and will develop a renewed communication strategy. The consortium proposed is created by three host organizations. The NBank as coordinator is the regional development bank for the federal state Niedersachsen and as such well-established within the region. NBank’s special competences are supporting SME, Access to Finance and innovation management. The two partners are Universities participating with their departments for technology transfer and EU-Financing. Their special competences are technology transfer, technology watch and support for creating international research projects. For Management EEN Niedersachsen use a coherent system comprising vision, strategy and concepts: Vision and mission statement, Strategy as far as Concepts and activities The consortiums quality principles are based on the Code of Conduct of the Enterprise Europe Network, which was signed and implemented by all consortium partners |
