Description
Description | EEN Istanbul consortium including SU, ISO and KOSGEB Istanbul have been successfully collaborating under the EEN framework since 2008, focusing on supporting SMEs in the Istanbul province, and achieved recognition by their client bases and other stakeholders in the region. EEN Istanbul leverages the strengths of its partners: SU, strong track record on innovation, academia-industry collaboration and EU research projects; ISO, the largest industrial chamber in the country with expertise in business-oriented services; and KOSGEB, a public body dedicated exclusively to SMEs, provides financial support to SMEs in areas aligned with the themes of the EEN. The project aims to provide comprehensive and client-centric first and second-level advisory and partnering services to SMEs, focusing on innovation, access to funding and finance, digitalisation, the Single Market, internationalisation (including to third countries), resilience, sustainability, scale-up, and upskilling/reskilling. A no-wrong-door approach ensures all SMEs, both new and existing, have access to these services, with more in-depth support for those with strong potential for growth and innovation, while ensuring effective and coordinated project management across consortium components. Second-level services will empower SMEs to navigate funding opportunities, internationalise, and adopt sustainable, resilient practices. These efforts will be underpinned by a measurable impact framework to ensure competitiveness and growth. To maximize reach and synergies, EEN Istanbul will link with other regional and EU networks and clusters. Through a Hub & Spoke model, the consortium will ensure that Network services are accessible across its partners' locations. EEN Istanbul will maintain high visibility at local, regional, and European levels, contributing to regional initiatives, network development, capacity building, and quality management. |
