Description

Description

The overall objective of the project is to provide growth oriented integrated business and innovation support services in Lithuania, thus contributing to the competitiveness, sustainability and innovative capacity of the Community with the particular attention to the Lithuanian SMEs needs that seek to exploit new opportunities in the Single Market, but also in third countries. Building on the long lasting (all partners constantly improves services towards the SMEs for at least 15 year) practice in EU level business support as well as on partners’ experience in Euro info centre, Innovation Relay Centre and Enterprise Europe Network (2008-2014) the proposed implementation strategy for the Network in Lithuania has following specific objectives: - Provide easy-to-access integrated services in close proximity to SMEs; - Maintain and continuously improve the professionalism of the services provided by the Network; - Raise the awareness of SMEs about EU policy issues and act as a communication channel for the EC with European SMEs; - Promote and inform SMEs about the services offered by the Network; - Promote the Network's distinct brand and identity, thereby ensuring a high degree of visibility for the Network throughout the geographic area covered in the proposal; - Use the common tools and methodologies provided for the Network and contribute to the establishment of an internal 'network identity'; - Ensure that the services provided by the Network are consistent with and embedded in the wider regional business and innovation support environment. Proposed consortium not only has strong motivation, capacity and experience to represent the Network in Lithuania but also brings significant recognition and support of important international (Eurochambres) and national stakeholders – among them, Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania that officially nominated Lithuanian Innovation Centre to lead the implementation of Network activities in Lithuania.
