The objective of the current proposal is to maintain and improve the services offered by the EEN madri+d, providing even more and better services in support of business and innovation and to contribute to the Enterprise Europe Network positioning as a specialist for the European dimension among the region. According to this, one strategic objective will be to act as the communication channel between the EC and SMEs specially, raising awareness – in particular among SMEs – regarding Community policy issues and the related services offered by the consortium. On the other hand, business feedback about EU policies implementation will be a fundamental key in our strategy. The proposed consortium is built up on 8 partners, whose activities and geographical coverage cover the entire Madrid region. The consortium is strongly supported by the Regional Government as far as 50% of the partners are linked and supported by the regional government (Fundación para el Conocimiento Madri+d, Madrid Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Madrid Science Park and Madrid Network). The services offered by the consortium will increase the synergies among all its partners through the provision of integrated activities and the improvement of its partner’s accessibility, proximity, quality and professionalism. Finally, the consortium will try to search and develop complementary services from other innovation and internationalisation networks and services providers (according to the local and European cooperation plan described in section that will be part. To implement these objectives, this proposal includes the services related to: Information, feedback, business co-operation and internationalisation; Innovation and the transfer of both technology and knowledge; and Participation of SMEs in the Community framework programme for RTD.
