"The Wallonie Europe 2.2 project deals with the further development of the Enterprise Europe Network in Wallonia (Belgium) during the years 2017-2018. Upon request of the Walloon Regional authorities which are progressively reorganizing the landscape of the public support to SMEs, the consortium will evolve and will be organized in two layers. The new ""Agence pour l'Entreprise et l'Innovation"" , new consortium coordinator, will constitute the regional layer mainly in charge of integrating the European and network added value actions and services of Enterprise Europe Network into the existing framework and promoting the network at the regional level and towards stakeholders. The others partners will work at local level with SME in priority, enterprises and other interested clients, in order to contribute also to the main objective of the project wich is the improvement of the competitiveness of the Walloon SMEs. This goal will be achieved thanks to the full range of European added value services and actions proposed in the framework of the network but also thanks to the proximity existing between most of the partners and the Walloon SMEs. The Wallonie Europe 2.2 project will propose advisory and support services linked to European and access to foreign market matters as well as transnational partnership services in order to help SMEs to innovate and to internationalise taking advantage of the (expansing) whole network area. The project will take care of the existing situation in Wallonia in order not to propose services already proposed by other public support providers but to reinforce links, quality and performance of the support to SMEs. Visibility and impact of the network services in Wallonia will be also considered during the project with special emphasis put on success stories and use of social networks. Finally, the Wallonie Europe 2.2 project will continue to be an active part of the whole network working in accordance with its rules and spirit. "
