E4IC II OVERALL OBJECTIVE is to contribute to the EU efforts of enhancing entrepreneurship and increasing the competitiveness and sustainability of European SME’s and to contribute to creating a flourishing entrepreneurial culture. With this aim, the project pursues the following SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: • Provide personalised support to 87 NEs to find the adequate HE match to provide practical on-the job training and exchange of experience that will improve the quality of the start-ups. • Support entrepreneurs with high quality information and help turning the business ideas into practice to foster the creation of new businesses and new jobs. • Assist 73 HEs to engage in a cross-border transfer of knowledge that will increase innovation and provide personalised support that will make SMEs more resilient and competitive. • Foster the sharing of experience and information between NEs and HEs to enhance new market access and internationalisation. • Engage in active networking and sharing of experience and information with other IOs to contribute to an effective and efficient programme execution of high quality. • Contribute to a change in the perception of entrepreneurship through practical positive communication about the achievements of entrepreneurs, their value to society and economy and the opportunities of new business creation. E4IC II will contribute to the EU efforts by promoting mobilities focussing (not exclusively) on the PRIMARY TARGET GROUPS of university student/(post)graduate entrepreneurs and female entrepreneurs.
