SMEs are the backbone of the European economy and their competitiveness is increasingly dependent on their capacity to innovate (develop new products or services, adapt to new processes or business models…) and to reach new markets. The Enterprise Europe Network has shown since 2008 its capacity to propose a wide range of activities that fully contribute to stimulate SMEs. In Western France, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bretagne, in partnership with the regional agencies, Bretagne Développement Innovation and Solutions&co in Pays de la Loire, have decided to collaborate within the EEN network. In order to propose a comprehensive scope of services meeting SMEs’ needs, the consortium EEN OUEST develops a 7 year-strategy (2015-2021), with actions split in 7 activities : The first 4 activities are “service” activities: • A1 covers the information and advice actions in the fields of single market, EU fundings, international and innovation policies. • A2 concerns matchmaking activities in order to develop commercial and technological partnerships • A3 is devoted to feedback activities for the European Commission • A4 concerns H2020 innovation services (specific H2020 agreement) The last 3 activities are “support” activities: • A5 develops the promotion of the network • A6 explains the network activities • A7 concerns the management of the project
