Environmental condition and sustainable usage of common Hungarian-Slovakian subsurface bodies

Through an elaboration, co-ordination and harmonisation of practical procedures for researching of underground waters, this grant helps with the research of common subsurface bodies, a decision making based on environment concerning crossborder investments. For this, a uniform database and effective exchange of data had to be elaborated. Therefore, it was needed to do research and development in hydrogeology, to build a database based on Geographic Information System, to form new partnerships and to inform inhabitants of the involved area. For general information, project results are accessible on the Internet in Slovakian, Hungarian and English as well.
