Description | The project comprises the construction of 1.52-million ton zero-emission ammonia plant in Ongniud Banner, Inner Mongolia. Construction of the first of the three phases started on October 22th, 2023. The sponsor is Envision Energy, part of Envision Group. The investment is $5467m or 40 billion yuan for the three phases. The final capacity of the plant is planned to reach 1.52 million ton green ammonia production, as all the power will be sourced from newly built wind and solar plant locally.
