Albania is a country that has a strong system of formal education and training, from compulsory education through tertiary education. Primary and secondary education is mainly offered by public institutions, with a smaller number of private providers. Albania's education and training system is mainly focused on formal education aiming at the schooling of youngsters through general and vocational education and further to higher education. The National Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Qualifications (NAVTEQ) as the National Support Service for EPALE is presenting a follow-up proposal to promote the European Platform for Adult Learning in Europe (EPALE). The planned set of activities comprises: (i) the design and implementation of a 2-years Communication Strategy to resume the promotion of EPALE in Albania and continue to recruit users and contributors; (ii) continuous updating of the information about Lifelong Learning in Albania available at EPALE and development of animation strategies through social media and virtual communities to expand the Lifelong Learning community in the country, and to motivate adult learners, adult educators, the Albanian businesses and the society in general; (iii) the maintenance of the NAVETQ webpage on EPALE, cross-linking it to other public and private institutions operating in the education and training field; and (iv) support to multilingualism through the uploading of contents related to lifelong learning in Albanian language, exploiting the cultural and identity dimensions of adult learning activities. The main target-groups are adult learners and educators, public and private organizations dealing with education and lifelong learning topics, social partners, EU delegated institutions established in Albania, youngsters and adults. Most of the activities presented in this application are resuming the approved activities contained in the previous projects of 2016,2017-2018 and 2019-2022.
