The increasing need to continuously enhance our skills for both life and the labor market highlights the importance of adult learning and education. Adult education is a critical element of lifelong learning, encompassing formal, non-formal, and informal learning activities. It is essential for adult learning professionals to learn collaboratively to meet the high demand for upskilling and reskilling. Through this work plan, NSS NL aims to support the European Commission's goal of establishing EPALE as the online place for a transnational community of adult learning professionals in Europe. NSS NL seeks to engage and support members of the Dutch adult learning community to register and actively participate in EPALE. By providing high-quality, current content, NSS NL will assist and stimulate Dutch EPALE users in sharing valuable information, experiences and good practices regarding adult education and lifelong learning. CINOP, representing NSS NL, will strive to make EPALE NL the foremost Dutch knowledge base for European policy developments and best practices in adult learning, while fostering partnerships with other European and Dutch platforms with regards to adult learning professionals. To achieve this, NSS NL will collaborate with the EPALE Central Support Service (CSS) to meet European Commission objectives. Their work packages align with both EPALE’s and national priorities, including lifelong learning and workplace skills, developed in consultation with the Ministry of Education. NSS NL will promote the platform, recruit new users, and implement a tailored communication plan with expert assistance. By working with Dutch EPALE ambassadors, the National Agency, NCAL, CSS, and other NSSs, especially NSS BE-NL, NSS NL aims to strengthen the adult learning community in the Netherlands and enhance its online presence through joint events and expanded outreach.
