EPG Modular Data Center Manufacturing Expansion

planned

EPG, a Singapore-based provider of modular data center solutions, has received BOMBA certification for its containerised modular products in Malaysia. The company is expanding its manufacturing footprint in Johor Bahru with a new RM380 million (US$80 million) smart factory facility, expected to be operational by Q3 2026. This facility will provide 40,000 m² of advanced production space, employ over 800 skilled workers, produce over 2,000 modular units annually, and support up to 550 MW of data center project capacity. The BOMBA certification enables faster deployment of modular systems within Malaysia and supports exports to neighboring countries, strengthening Malaysia's role as a regional data center manufacturing hub.
