Inapp, as National public research institute, will continue to host the Italian National Reference Point (NRP) for EQAVET. In line with the EU Recommendation on VET and the Osnabrück Declaration, the NRP in Italy aims to take concrete initiatives in order to implement and further develop the EQAVET Framework and to inform and mobilise a wide range of stakeholders, including Centres of Vocational Excellence, to contribute to implementing the EQAVET Framework and the European tools for Quality Assurance in VET. The Italian NRP will host a Peer review at system level and will participate in similar Peer reviews abroad. Through an active engagement in EU level peer reviews of quality assurance, the Italian NRP will enhance the transparency and consistency of quality assurance arrangements at local, national, and European level and reinforce trust between the Member States. Moreover, the Italina NRP will produce updated materials (publications, technical and research papers, and so on) about QA policies and tools, providing an updated description of the national quality assurance arrangements based on the EQAVET Framework. Besides, an integrated and extensive dissemination and communication strategy, addressed to providers, stakeholders and decisionmakers in VET, related to the EQAVET Framework and the European quality assurance tools, will be carried out by EQAVET Italy. The Italian NRP will also support self-evaluation as a complementary and effective means of quality assurance to allow the measurement of success and the identification of areas for improvement, including with respect to digital readiness of VET systems and institutions. All the above activities call for both a high involvement in national and regional VET policies as well as an active participation in the European EQAVET network which requires collaboration and cooperation at transactional level in order to enhance the “quality culture” and the European dimension in quality assurance for VET.
