The project of the EQAVET NRP in Slovakia is a follow-up of activities implemented since 2018 by the State Vocational Education Institute. The main goal of the project is to further reinforce use and visibility of the EQAVET framework in Slovakia and support quality assurance initiatives of VET providers in Slovakia. Specific goals of the actions are: - To promote the EQAVET principles and quality assurance in VET, - To further develop the stakeholder community in Slovakia and involve it in the national and international activities related to quality, - To train VET provides in quality-related issues, with a special focus on newly established Centres of Vocational Excellence in Slovakia, - To engage in and benefit from peer reviews on the system level implemented in Slovakia and other Member States, - To create resources for better understanding of EQAVET in the national context. The work plan consists of 6 work packages implemented in order to achieve specific goals of the project. 1. Project management and coordination - overall coordination and monitoring of the project ; 2. Communication and dissemination – information activities, Month of Quality and Award for quality assurance; 3. National and international cooperation supporting EQAVET implementation – involvement in the activities of the EQAVET Network and other international activities (study visits, conferences); 4. Capacity building in quality assurance - training activities for VET provides in Slovakia, including newly established Centres of Vocational excellence in Slovakia and their support in setting-up their quality-assurance system; 5. Peer Review on the system level - the system peer review focused on the system of validation of of prior learning in Slovakia 6. Promotion of the use of EQAVET in the national context (website, update of the Report on QA in VET in Slovakia. The project duration is 29 months.
