The project involves capturing heat generated by servers, transferring it to a new energy centre built by A2A, and using heat pumps, thermal storage, and transport infrastructure to feed heat into the urban network. The system is designed to supply up to 225 GWh of heat annually, enough to heat over 21,000 homes and reduce CO2 emissions by more than 345,000 tonnes. |
