Description | Equus Energy plans to sign a lease agreement for a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel in the second half of 2026 for the Equus gas project offshore Western Australia. The project includes plans for an offshore gas pipeline lease agreement, gas/LNG processing agreement, and LNG sales and financing agreement. The development concept is designed to be capital efficient with three to five subsea wells planned at startup and production estimates of 350 terajoules per day. The project aims to produce 2 million tonnes per annum of LNG for export and 50 terajoules of domestic gas over a 15-year project life. |
