Description | The Equus offshore gas project involves the development of the Equus gas condensate field with the first-ever deployment of a Sevan cylindrical FPSO in Australian waters. The project includes tie-back options to existing Pluto or Varanus Island infrastructure on the North West Shelf offshore Western Australia. The development envisages gross production of approximately 350 million cubic feet per day of gas from up to five vertical subsea wells linked to a leased floating production, storage and offloading vessel, with stabilised condensate offloaded via tanker. The project aims to supply LNG export markets and around 5% of Western Australia's current gas demand, with a 15-year project life based on certified resources. |
