In the context of the primary mission of the Eurydice Network for evidence-based cooperation in education, the National Unit (Greece) aims to: • pro-actively engage in educational informative activities which will contribute to national policy-making and help meet challenges in our educational system; the annual updating of the description of our education system and participation in thematic comparative reports aims first and foremost to raise public awareness in critical areas of education, thus, giving policy-makers food for thought. • provide the central Eurydice Unit (Executive Agency) with information and data on our education system; The information is essentially normative and qualitative-based, relating to official documents, such as laws, presidential decrees, ministerial decisions and regulations. • promote Eurydice products at national level, by formulating a communication strategy and implementing a plan.
