Description | The objectives for 2022-2023 are: 1. To raise the awareness and visibility of eTwinning and introducing ESEP. 2. Support and encourage teachers to participate in collaborative project work. 3. To provide professional development possibilities for the teachers. 4. To emphasise the quality of eTwinning projects. 5. To promote the topic of democratic participation and sustainability, also annual topics of eTwinning. 6. To engage ITE in eTwinning activities. 7. To engage VET schools and ECEC institutions in eTwinning activities. 8. To promote eTwinning School concept. 9. To promote the link between eTwinning and Erasmus+ activities. 10. To collaborate with the Ministry of Education and local authorities to further embed eTwinning in school education. The main target groups of eTwinning action are teachers and headmasters from ECEC institutions, primary, secondary and VET schools. The NSO provides helpdesk and advice for all the users. The aim of the eTwinning activities carried out by the NSO is to make eTwinning more visible for teachers, headmasters, school owners and decision makers at a local and national level and highlight the synergy with Erasmus+ other activities. The NSO coordinates and supports the eTwinning ambassadors’ network to ensure support to eTwinning activities at local and school level. Professional development possibilities are offered for beginners and advanced users. The main aim is to encourage as many teachers as possible to integrate eTwinning activities in their work, promote the methodology of project-based learning, boost innovation among teaching and contribute to enhancing digital skills of teachers and students for more advanced digital learning as well as to develop other key competences of teachers and students. The NSO evaluates the projects NQL applications and highlights best practice. The NSO continues to promote the eTwinning School concept among public and local authorities as well as schools and kindergartens. |
