Description | The Greek proposal for the EU Youth Dialogue was formulated in accordance with the guidelines of the European Commission, the European Youth Strategy 2019-2027, the priorities of the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps (ESC) programmes, as well as the national priorities in the field of youth, which are analysed as follows: • Building on the legacy of the EYY 2022 and its values for the Greek Youth • Shaping of the “young active citizen” who acts as an agent of change and improvement in the political and social life • Embracing of values which constitute the European identity of young people which revolve around the prevention of social exclusion and the co-structuring, and improving of the society in which they live • Strengthening of extroversion and cooperation among the Youth ecosystem at national level Particular emphasis has been placed on: • the objectives set out in the Communication on the legacy of the European Year of Youth 2022; • the opportunities for inclusion of young people not only from densely populated urban areas but from rural backgrounds in the periphery; • the participation of vulnerable social groups of youth; • engaging not only youth civil society and youth organisations, but also individual young people not being members of such organisations; • aligning with the horizontal priorities of the European Union; • mainstreaming youth policy across all relevant Union policy fields to encourage that a youth perspective is brought into policy-making at all levels. |
