Description | The Erie City Revitalization and Improvement Zone (CRIZ) has received approval for its first three projects, with funding of $20.6 million to support three construction projects valued at $105 million. The projects include an $8 million CRIZ-funded expansion of the Bayfront Marriott parking ramp, $7.6 million in funding for a $37 million AC Marriott hotel proposed by Scott Enterprises, and $5 million in CRIZ funding for the $58 million transformation of the Renaissance Centre into the Trust Hotel. Additional projects are in the pipeline, including a $4.8 million loan for a $17 million renovation of Modern Tool Square and $10 million for the $34 million Flagship Commons Building by the Erie Downtown Development Corp. |
