Description | Erma (Albania) developed the 1.5MW Carshova small hydropower plant, municipality of Carshova, South Albania (near Permet). Annual production was estimated at 8.26 GWh. The project received a generation license in October 2011, for 30 years. The project was commissioned in August 2012. The project received a license as a renewable energy producer in December 2012, from the ERE. The project was expected to receive a PPA with KESH in its feasibility study, 2011. ERE issued Standard Basic PPA with Public Wholesale Supplier (KESH) for small HPPs. Total project cost was EUR 1.5 million (US$ 1.8 million).
