Project Abstract: ERRC Roma Rights Network The ERRC Roma Rights Network (ERRC RRN) unites Roma and non-Roma human rights organisations across Europe to promote equality and combat discrimination. The network comprises 22 organisations from 16 EU countries, with additional partners from non-Member states supported by other donors. Objectives: Promote Equality and Combat Discrimination: Advocate for EU and national policies preventing discrimination against Romani communities. Build and Strengthen Capacity: Equip Roma and non-Roma organisations with skills in advocacy, litigation, and community empowerment. Promote Cross-border Collaboration: Facilitate knowledge exchange and resource sharing to amplify impact. Year 1 Activities: Project kick-off meeting. Bi-monthly virtual coordination meetings. ERRC RRN landing webpage development. Communications strategy and Year 1 plan. Monitoring and evaluation framework. Two online webinars/workshops. Annual in-person meeting. Communications efforts, including social media content, an annual report, and a bi-annual newsletter. Impact: Short-term: Increased awareness of issues faced by Romani women, girls, and LGBTQI+ individuals. Medium-term: Strengthened advocacy, policy reforms, and improved community representation. Long-term: Sustainable inclusion in Roma rights advocacy and a new generation of Romani leaders. Target Groups: Romani communities, with focus on women, girls, LGBTQI+ Roma, and youth. Civil society organisations, activists, and legal advocates. The general public and authorities at all levels.
