Description
Description | The Project involves the construction and commissioning (2025–2028) of Kazakhstan’s first large-scale, full-cycle pressure oxidation (POX) processing facility in the Pavlodar region, with a design capacity of up to 278 ktpa of gold concentrate to produce doré gold. Ertis POX will de-risk the Company’s operations by eliminating reliance on third-party off-take and tolling arrangements, while also providing additional capacity to meet the growing demand for refractory ore processing in Central Asia. The Project is being developed by Solidcore Resources PLC, a leading gold producer based in Kazakhstan. The Company is publicly listed on the Astana International Exchange (AIX) under the ticker CORE and is registered at the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC). Approximately 31.7% of shares are held by Maaden International Investment SPC, an Omani state-owned investment holding company, with the remaining 67.5% in free float held by international institutional investors. A dedicated project company, Ertis Hydrometallurgical Plant LLP, was established in 2022 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Solidcore Resources to develop and operate the Project. 1.
