Project 1. Improving transparency to users by documenting sources and methods used for the compilation of national accounts data: a) Annual sector accounts (ASA) – update of currently available ASA. b) Quarterly sector accounts (QSA) - development QSA. c) Quarterly national accounts (QNA) – update of currently available QNA. d) Regional accounts (RA) - update of currently available RA. g) Provision of ESA 2010 reference metadata based on SIMS – • update of SIMS in English for currently available domain (NAMAES, NAIOES, REGES, GFS). • development of SIMS in English for SA (NASAES). Project 3. Supporting preparation for the next coordinated 2024 benchmark revision including general preparations and improvements in specific areas: a) Preparatory work to implementation of COICOP 2018. b) Improvements in calculation methods concerning selected groups of fixed assets (flows and stocks), i.e. investment outlays on small tools and investment outlays incurred by individual farms. c) Improvements in compilation of quarterly data concerning Compensation of employees broken down by NACE Rev. 2 sections (table 103Q). d) Preparation for 2024 benchmark revision. Project 4. Supporting the compilation and transmission of additional voluntary data focussing in particular on areas with important policy needs, compilation of Social transfers in kind (D.63), Consumption of Fixed Capital (P.51c) and Final Consumption Expenditure (P.3) for NUTS 2 regions. Project 7: Further improving the quality, transparency and methodological infrastructure of National Accounts in the field of GNI estimation and harmonising the GNI data submitted to the EU for budgetary purposes: a) Development of methodologies and tools supporting the balancing process based on simplified supply and use tables. b) Analysis and works aimed at implementation of PIM method to the regular production of fixed assets stocks and CFC in national economy.
