The action will cover two following projects split in two Working Packages (WP): - Project 5: “Experimental statistics on Space Economy Satellite Accounts (Supply and Use Tables)” (WP1); - Project 12: “Improving transparency to users by documenting sources and methods used for the compilation of national accounts data., Section e) Inventory on volume estimates (NA-V)” (WP2). The general objective of Project 5 is to delimit the space sector within official statistics on a framework of supply and use tables (SUT) and employment. The general objective of Project 12 is the compilation of Inventory on volume estimates (NA-V) based on a harmonized structure. Project 5 will be based on already developed system of national accounts SUT. Methodology elaborated by European Space Agency, Joint Research Center and Eurostat will be applied to delimit the space economy. Project 12 will be based on the standardized structure provided by Eurostat and on the guidelines for the drafting of a national accounts volume estimates inventory. Both projects will be innovations in Latvia.
