Description | IFC is proposing up to a US$4 million equity investment in Liftit (the “Company”), an e-logistics company that provides cargo transportation services. Proceeds will be used to fund the company’s expansion to Mexico by hiring a sales team, and to fund the development of the IT team in Colombia (the “project”). Liftit started operations in 2017. Currently, approximately 3,000 vehicles are registered on the platform of which about 2,600 are active. The number of trips per month is rapidly increasing, from about 600 in January 2018 to 1,800 in March 2018. |
