Economic/Social Impact of the Project Presently, ESL is an integrated steel plant with capacity of 1.5 MTPA. The finished products include Pig iron, Wire Rods, Rebars & DI Pipes. Facilities completed till date - Blast furnace - [ 1 x 350 m3 + 1 x 1050 m3], Vertical Coke Oven - [4 x 35 Ovens], Sinter Plant - [ 2 x 105 m2], PCM - [ 2 sets of double chain fixed type pig casting machines], SMS -[2 x 60T BOF + 2 x 5 Strands Billet Caster], Calcination Plant - [Lime Plant- 1 x 800 TPD + DOLO Plant- 1 x 150 TPD], DI Pipe Plant - [0.22 MTPA], Rolling Mill - [Rebars- 0.7 MTPA & Wire Rods- 0.5 MTPA], CPP - 80 MW [with 2 x 130 TPH CFBC boiler + 2 x 75 TPH WHRB + 2 x 60 MW TG], Oxygen Plant - 840 TPD, RMHS - [ 1 SCR]. Proposed Expansion [Subject to statutory clearance]- ESL is planning to install remaining units in order to achieve 3 MTPA production capacity of existing integrated steel plant considering maximum utilization of already partial built units and infrastructure with minimum investment.
