Española GloveWorks Parkinson's Treatment Glove Project

Española GloveWorks is a non-profit organization based in Española, New Mexico, that manufactures gloves designed to alleviate symptoms of Parkinson's disease. The gloves send targeted vibrations to the fingertips to reduce symptoms over time with repeated use. The project began as a prototype in 2023 based on Stanford's model and became a non-profit in 2026 with support from a $25,000 grant from the New Mexico Community Trust. The project also provides hands-on engineering education to student interns from Northern New Mexico College and Española Valley High School.
