ESR CARR FIRE -BLM Roads and Weed eradication

implementation

The Carr Fire affected the upper reaches of Grass Valley Creek watershed. The upper and middle sections of the Grass Valley Creek watershed is dominated by the highly erosive decomposed granite soils. The BLM contracted with TCRCD to repair road affected by fire suppression efforts, other potential erosion hazards post fire, assist with storm patrol, tree planting and weed eradication on skids used during the fire. This continues a long history of TCRCD road maintenance efforts in the Grass Valley Creek watershed for the BLM.
