Establishing the Luxembourg Health Data Access Body

The need for a common data space for supporting research and innovation using health data has emerged in Luxembourg and it is aligned with the national digital strategy. In order to establish such a capacity in Luxembourg, HDAB-LU will support the development and deployment of the Luxembourg access body to support the secondary use of health data in the scope of the European Health Data Space. The access body will cover the digital business capabilities of a data access application management system, the national dataset catalogue, as well as provide secure processing environments (SPE) to the data users and establish gateways for cross-border access. The outcome of this project will benefit both the data users and data providers as well as citizens in Luxembourg and EU.
