Economic/Social Impact of the Project The project is to establish a Deemed Medical College at Langol, Manipur, to provide affordable healthcare and health education. A Deemed Medical University at Langol, Manipur on PPP mode with 35 acres of additional land from the government. Facilities to be provided: 1. A medical college with 100 students admission per year 2. Dental College 50 admission per year 3. Nursing and Paramedical College 4. Hospital Management Institute 5. A 300 bedded Super Speciality Hospital 6. 500 Bedded Hospital The Government of Manipur plans to establish a Deemed Medical College at Langol, Manipur, to provide affordable healthcare and health education to the people of Manipur. The government would offer 35 acres of additional government land in Langloi for the envisioned project. The university would also offer Nursing, Hospitality management and Paramedical training apart from the general medical courses. The university shall include a medical college that admits 100 students annually and a dental college that admits 50 students annually. The university complex shall also house a 300 bedded Super Specialty Hospital and 500 Bedded General Hospital.
