Establishment of Ground nut oil processing unit

The company established in 2021 was the result of the promoter's observation of the current huge gap between demand and supply of edible oil in Ethiopia, which initiated the establishment of processing facility of producing edible ground nut oil and subsequent use of the residue of ground-nut cake to produce animal feed. The project is designed with a total investment cost of USD2. 78 million USD and out of which 30% is covered by the promoter. After the completion of the project, the factory is expected to produce 50 tons of edible oil, and 54 tons of animal feed per day with a single production shift. And it will create job opportunities for 110 permanent and for 70 temporary workers. The promoter is looking for an international investor willing to contribute through equity in the project to tide over the fund shortage to complete the project.
