Description | This profile envisages the establishment of a plant for the assembly of refrigerator with a capacity of 12,000 units per annum. The present demand for refrigerator in the country is met entirely through import. The present (2022) demand for refrigerator assembly is estimated at 217,340 units. The demand for refrigerator is projected to reach 319,344 units and 234,610 units by the year 2027 and 2032, respectively. The principal raw materials required by the project consists of cold-rolled steel plate, silicate steel plate, resin, urethane foams, R-12 Freon gas, acrylic antistatic agent which have to be imported. The total investment cost of the project including working capital is estimated at $1,257,778, which will create employment for 112 persons. |
