Description | Estácio Participações S.A. and its subsidiaries (“Estácio” or the “Company”) is one of Brazil’s largest private post-secondary education institutions with around 238,700, mostly undergraduate, students, spread over a network of 71 campuses with a significant presence in the Southern, North and Northeast regions of the country. Estácio also operates a university in Paraguay. Estacio is undertaking a corporate investment program to modernize its existing campuses, develop its distance learning platform, and expand into new campuses mostly through acquisitions (the “Project”). This would be IFC’s second investment with Estácio.
