This project aims to prepare Ukraine’s Electronic Healthcare System (UEHS) for integration into the MyHealth@EU network, enabling cross-border healthcare data exchange with EU Member States. Currently, Ukraine does not have the legal right to connect to MyHealth@EU. However, with its newly granted EU candidate status and the introduction of the European Health Data Space (EHDS) legislation, which allows third countries to participate in data exchange, Ukraine has an opportunity to begin preparatory and pilot activities. The project addresses technical, semantic, and procedural gaps in Ukraine's system, aligning it with MyHealth@EU standards. Key activities include analyzing compliance reports, developing technical specifications, piloting a National Contact Point (NCP) server for electronic prescription (EP) and patient summary (PS) exchange with Estonia, and creating software prototypes for data transformation and visualization. These preparatory steps lay the groundwork for Ukraine’s eventual full participation in MyHealth@EU once legal conditions permit.
