The sector's human resources is heavily male-dominated, with women accounting for just 16% of EEP's workforce, where they mainly occupy administrative or highly stereotyped positions (cooks, cleaners, hostesses, etc.).EEP estimates that it will need to recruit 20,600 new employees by 2030 out of a current workforce of 7,400. EEP is also facing an aging workforce, with 2,000 employees (24% of the total) due to retire between now and 2030.This project will cover the investments needed to build the new EEP training center, which will be located in Debre Zeit.  The center will include several pedagogical buildings, administrative offices, three dormitories (one of which is reserved for female learners), a clinic, a dining area and a sports field to improve the learning environment and reinforce informal exchanges between learners.The center will also be equipped with recent training equipment adapted to the technologies installed on the Ethiopian network.
