Description | Etihad Park is the first soccer-specific stadium to be built in New York City, located next to Citi Field in Queens. The stadium is planned to host New York City FC starting from the 2027-28 MLS season. The project also includes affordable housing, a new school, a 250-room hotel, retail space, and 40,000 square feet of public space. The structural frame construction milestone was reached with the installation of the final steel beam in March 2026, 15 months after breaking ground in December 2024. |
