Description

The project comprises the construction and development of a wind power farm at Qipanjing Town, Etuoke Banner (also known as Otog Banner) in Inner Mongolia, China. The sponsor is China General Nuclear Power Group with an investment of approximately $15.9m (114 million yuan). The construction started on December 13, 2023. The capacity of the facility is planned to be 20MW. It includes a wind power plant, 4 wind turbines, and switch station. After being put into operation, the annual power generation capacity will reach more than 50 million kilowatt hours, and it is expected to achieve full capacity grid-connected power generation by the end of June 2024. The project will provide 54,584.72MWh of green electricity to Etuoke Banner every year, which is equivalent to saving 16,500 tons of standard coal per year and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 45,200 tons per year. https://wind.imarine.cn/news/80080.html https://regional.chinadaily.com.cn/ordosen/en/2023-12/12/c_946988.htm
