eTwinning France 2022-23 Activity Plan

As part of the Erasmus+ program, eTwinning supports networking between teachers/practitioners of education and training, collaborative projects between classes in European and neighboring countries, professional development for teachers and practitioners of education and training. It fosters as sense of European identity and citizenship in the participants of the projects – teachers, but also students and their families. It also contributes to the development and dissemination of innovative pedagogical and digital teaching practices and supports participation of schools in funded KA1 and KA2 projects and the development of mixed-mobility/hybrid mobility projects. Through its varied activities, eTwinning contributes to the development of the European Education Space and to the objectives of the Digital Education Action Plan and the Green Deal. The French eTwinning National Support Organization is based at Réseau Canopé, an institution connected to the Ministry of Education. The French NSO’s missions include providing technical and pedagogical support for teachers and schools, as well as recognition, and disseminating good practices through training opportunities and resources. The NSO also ensures the safety of the European School Education Platform/eTwinning, monitors good user behavior, contributes content to the platform and participates in the various working groups, events and meetings organized at the European level. It also engages in cooperation with other NSO in order to provide professional development and partner-finding opportunities for teachers and schools, as well as to share practices regarding specific NSO activities and the development of eTwinning in different countries. In order to implement adequate activities and to develop eTwinning in all parts of the country, the French NSO works with a network of developers (eTwinning ambassadors and Réseau Canopé regional representatives) in eThe French eTwinning NSO Activity Plan for the 2022-23 period.
